About our sessions & lessons

Open sessions are suitable for any ability if you're a confident rider and mindful of your surroundings and other users. You can skateboard, quad skate, inline skate, bmx or scooter (stunt scooters only). We run longer afternoon and weekend sessions and shorter after-school sessions. You can book open sessions online  or just turn up. See timetable for details.

Level 1 lessons are for complete or near beginners (good balance and listening skills help). Saturdays & Sundays 10-11 am. 

Level 2 lessons are for more experienced riders who want to learn new tricks and skills. Saturdays & Sundays 11-12 noon.  

This session is suitable for more advanced (Level 3) skateboarders who want to learn more progressive tricks on ramp or street, like flips, shuvits, rails, ledges, grinds, lip tricks, ollies, etc. Ask our certified skate coach and you’ll be well on the way to nailing it. Mondays 6-7 pm.

Adult lessons are a highlight of the week. Join a lovely group of skaters who pop in and have a laugh as we try out our skateboard skills in a child free environment. Aimed at learners and returners who’ve not been on their board in a long time and want to get back into the swing of things. Mondays 7-8 pm.

Passionate about skateboarding but would prefer a more relaxed vibe with less testosterone? Girls lessons are for women and girls only 7 years plus, from beginners to advanced. Wednesdays 5-6 pm. The cost includes admission to Girls Night which follows at Wednesdays 6-8 pm.

Skate Park Tots is for ages 18 months to 7 years. We have skateboards and pads for hire or bring your own scooter, bmx, balance bike, etc (just nothing electric) plus a fitting helmet if you have it. Sundays, Thursdays & Fridays 10-11 am. We also run Skate Tot Skateboard Lessons for ages 4-6 years on Sundays 11-12 noon. Children must be supervised at all times.

Individual lessons are £30 an hour or £20 during an open session. 

2 people / lesson £15 pp

3 or 4 people / lesson £12.50 pp
